DAY 01: Arrival Guwahati - Shillong

Welcome to Guwahati Airport and drive to Shillong. En route witness the Umiam Lake or Barapani - is the biggest artificial lake in Meghalaya in midst of sylvan hills adorned by Khasi pines & peerless beauty. Visit Cathedral of Marry It is the cathedral church of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Shillong and serves as the seat of the Metropolitan Archbishop of Shillong. Evening free at leisure to explore the region on own. You may take a walk to the famous Police Bazaar for shopping. Overnight stay at Shillong.(Dinner)

DAY 02: Shillong – Cherrapunjee – Shillong

Today enjoy day excursion to Cherrapunji. En-route visit the famous Elephanta Falls, a stunning waterfall located in the outskirts of Shillong. On arrival visit Nohkalikai Falls, cascading down from the top of the gorge to the mystic deep green pool below. Visit Mawsmai Caves, magnificent caves formed out of limestone. Return back to Shillong. Overnight stay at Shillong.(Breakfast, Dinner)

DAY 03: Shillong - Dawki - Mawlynnong – Shillong

Today, proceed to the border town of Dawki. On arrival enjoy boating at the Umngot River, known for its crystal clear waters and also visit the Bangladesh Border. Later proceed to Mawlynnong, the cleanest village in Asia, which is locally referred to as 'God's Own Garden'. On arrival visit Living Root Bridge, made of tangles of massively thick roots. Later visit Balancing Rock. Return back to Shillong. Overnight stay at Shillong. (Breakfast, Dinner)

DAY 04: Shillong - Don Bosco Museum - Maha Mrityunjay Temple – Kaziranga

Today morning visit Don Bosco Museum, which provides a glimpse of the life, culture and history of Northeast India. Its building is seven storeys high, with each level representing one of the seven sister states of the Northeast. Visit Maha Mrityunjay Temple. This Temple is special in its architectural sense as it is built in a form a Shivling. It is the World's largest Shivalinga, at the height of 126 foot. Lateron drive to Kaziranga National Park. Kaziranga, the World Heritage Site is the oldest park in Assam & is located on the banks of the Brahmaputra River. Kaziranga National Park is a natural habitat for conservation of biologically diverse flora & fauna. It is inhabited by the world’s largest population of one-horned rhinoceroses besides sheltering about 15 species of India’s threatened mammals. There are numerous other major wildlife fauna.Visit The Kaziranga National Orchid and Biodiversity Park. The Orchid Park boasts of having more than 500 varieties of wild orchids. DAY 05: Kaziranga – Elephant Safari – One Jeep Safari

Early morning go for an Elephant ride @5-30 A.M/6: 30 A.M ( Subject to availability and allotment from forest department). Return for Breakfast to hotel. After breakfast proceed for Jeep safari. Later enjoy Local Village & Tea Garden (Outer View) tour. Overnight at Kaziranga. (Breakfast, Dinner) Note:- Elephant safari is on per seat basis and not individual hiring. Optional Add On Experience:- One more Jeep safari in other zone of the forest.

DAY 06: Kaziranga - Guwahati

Drive to Guwahati. The largest city of Assam, situated on the South bank of the Brahmaputra River. This city is the gateway to the enchanting Northeast India and a centre of socio-cultural, industrial, trade and commerce activities of the entire region. Evening free for leisure. Overnight stay at Guwahati. (Breakfast, Dinner) Optional Add On Expereince:- Enjoy evening cruise at Bramhaputra river.

DAY 07: Guwahati Local Sightseeing - Departure

Today morning post checkout from the hotel visit the Maa Kamakhya temple, Counted among the most sacred shaktipeethas (devotional shrines where the severed body parts of Goddess Sati fell). Visit Sankardev Kalakshetra, commonly known as Kalakshetra, is a cultural institution. Visit Assam State Museum for a deeper insight into the history and culture of the state. The collections include royal garments, weapons, paintings, sculptures, stone and copper inscriptions, woodwork and more. Some memorabilia from World War II is also on display.Transfer to Guwahati airport for return journey. Vacation comes to an end with sweet memories. (Breakfast)
